THERAPEUTIC CARE WITHIN YOUR REACH
Psychiatrist in Charlotte, N.C.
When I opened my office in North Carolina, I was struck by the shortage of quality psychiatrists. There are certainly excellent psychiatrists in the area, but not nearly enough to meet the needs of the state, which is growing so rapidly.
The silver lining to this is that the majority of patients I see for the first time in North Carolina get better relatively quickly, because they just haven’t had a chance to try the proper treatment for their condition mostly because they have been treated by their primary care provider, or maybe their OB/Gyn or other non-psychiatrist. I know these doctors mean well, but properly managing psychiatric conditions and medications does require both special expertise but also the time that these other doctors just don’t have to devote to properly counseling their patients regarding psychiatric medications. It is very gratifying to see so many of my North Carolina patients get better so quickly.

I specialize in cutting through the noise and presenting the proven state-of-the-art treatments in a way that is easy to understand. I also believe in integrating nutrition, exercise, supplements, and behavioral interventions to establish a comprehensive treatment plan.
Patients come to me with a variety of mental health challenges, but no matter the what the main issue is at first, we always come up with a comprehensive treatment plan that includes adjustments to diet, tips for sleep, an exercise plan, and anything that I am aware of that might help in addition to choosing the best medications for each individual.

We all know, that preventing problems or at least identifying them early , is the best way to stay healthy and to avoid a long and painful path to recovering form any serious condition. So why not apply that to mental health? We should each meet with our own regular Psychiatrist every 6 months or so for mental health check-up. During the check-up we review...
